Biography
Dr. Rodriguez has been a Professor of Management at CSB since 2001. Prior to joining the faculty, he was a Visiting Professor at Syracuse University. During his business career, Dr. Rodriguez worked in the areas of human resources and finance, both in industry and in financial institutions of his native country, Brazil. He has a Ph.D. in Strategy from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s in International Business from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Rodriguez has been engaged in research investigating factors of competitive advantage in economies with high levels of environmental uncertainty; ethnic and indigenous entrepreneurship; and institutional influences in the process of innovation diffusion. His publications include book chapters and articles in academic journals in Brazil and North America, such as the Journal of Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Journal of Small Business Management, RAE-Revista de Administração de Empresas, and RAC-Revista de Administração Contemporânea.
