Biography Dr. Porterfield is the Director of International Programs and Director of Assurance of Learning for the Cameron School of Business. She has been the Associate Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs, has served as the Associate Dean, Department Chair, and MBA Director in the Cameron School of Business. Prior to joining UNCW, Dr. Porterfield was a Professor of Management at Hofstra University and Mississippi State University. She spent over 15 years in the private sector as a senior financial analyst. Her research interests are in international strategy and academic administration.
